WHO IS FDR DESIGN?

FDR Design, Inc. engineers, manufactures, sells, and services machinery and components for the production and testing of gas filled, sealed insulated glass units. Since 1988, we have provided the fenestration industry with long-lasting argon and krypton gas filling and testing equipment.  Along with providing equipment, we foster long-standing relationships by being an information gateway to the industry.

By 2011 we all thought things would be going strong again, this has been a rough road for many. Appears we have hit bottom and are starting the slow climb back out.  At FDR we are holding fast on 2007 machine prices but with oil prices rising and threat of inflation looming not sure for how long.

New standards mean new challenges, we have exciting news from an old friend MOCON.  The  MOCON OpTech™ 02Platinum, a state-of-the art 02 analyzer using optical fluorescence technology offers solutions for analysis of gas content when hidden behind lowE coatings.  Even more exciting is the ease of use, accuracy, reliability, durability and simple calibration of this new sensor technology.  FDR is working with MOCON to introduce the OpTech™ 02Platinum to the fenestration industry.
